BAFTA and Tony award winning actress ‘thrilled’ to bring play to York

Killing Eve star Jodie Comer will be performing Suzie Miller’s award-winning Prima Facie to the Grand Opera House York from February 17 to 21, 2026.

Tickets for the production, which Suzie Miller won an Olivier Award for best play, goes on sale at midday on Tuesday 25 March 2025. 

Jodie won the Olivier Award when she made her theatrical debut in the production at The Harold Pinter Theatre in London and then won the Tony Award when the play transferred to Broadway.

“It is a huge privilege to return to Prima Facie for one last time and take this important play on tour across the UK & Ireland,” Jodie said.

Playing the role of a young barrister called Tessa, an unexpected event forces her to confront the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof and her own morals.
