Astrocampus Public Opening

Come and explore the wonders of the Universe at the Astrocampus, the University of York’s observatory.

Join us for an evening exploring the stars. Tour the observatory and discover what to look for in the night sky. When the weather allows, observe the Moon, planets, and/or stars with our telescopes and binoculars. Even if the weather lets us down, find out about meteors and handle our genuine meteorite, and investigate how space telescopes work with a fun, interactive talk.

Events go ahead whatever the weather and are suitable for families with children aged 7+. Every Thursday evening until the 14th of December 2023.
