Vivaldi: Gloria & Haydn: Nelson Mass

York Musical Society kickstarts its 2025/26 concert series on Saturday 8th November 2025 at 7.30 with a performance in St Lawrence Parish Church, Lawrence Street, York.

David Pipe will conduct this two-part performance of Haydn’s Nelson Mass and Vivaldi’s well-known Gloria, with organ accompaniment from ShaunTurnbull and soloists Ellie Miles-Kingston, Holly Gowan, Leo Fulwell and Dominic Rose.

This promises to be a varied and compelling programme of works composed almost a century apart but presenting themes relevant to our own time.
