What are some of the upcoming Star Wars projects?
The recent Star Wars Celebration in Japan last month unveiled various new projects for fans to get excited about.
This included a new Disney project titled Star Wars: Starfighter, with Ryan Gosling set to star, releasing in 2027.
According to the Star Wars website, it will be “set approximately five years after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”, with Gosling set to play a brand-new character.

It is one of a number of film projects in development, which also include films by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, James Mangold, Taika Waititi and a new trilogy by Simon Kinberg.
The next Star Wars film due for release is The Mandalorian and Grogu in 2026.
The film is a follow-up to the popular three-series Disney+ show starring Pedro Pascal.
