THREE more cases of coronavirus have been confirmed today in the City of York Council area – after two new cases yesterday.
The increase takes the total number of confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic to 923, which compares with 901 on July 6.
The city now has a rate of 439.7 per 100,000 population, compared with a rate of 461.8 for England as a whole.
Another four cases have also been confirmed in the North Yorkshire County Council area – following three new cases yesterday – which have taken the total number of confirmed cases there to 2,559, or a rate of 416.4 per 100,000.
In the East Riding of Yorkshire Council area, two more cases have been confirmed, taking the total to 1,651 cases confirmed, a rate of 486.1 per 100,000 population.
