Ricky Gervais is set to perform in York

Gervais is set to return to York, during an extensive international run of his latest stand-up show.

The award-winning comedian will bring Legend to York Barbican on Monday, 15 February 2027, as part of a tour scheduled to run from autumn 2026 until late 2027.

Following the final performances, the production will be recorded and released on Netflix. The streaming platform has secured the rights ahead of the tour’s launch, making Legend Gervais’ fifth stand-up special for the service.

His earlier shows – Humanity, SuperNature, Armageddon and Mortality – achieved record-breaking ticket sales before attracting large audiences on Netflix.
